Thought-less

Things that I have been doing instead of posting:

  • Going out to our church's youth camp, where Stephen led worship and preached
  • Searching all over tarnation for boxes to pack our stuff in for the move (apparently, so is everyone else in my town)
  • Making lists of things I need to pack (I live off of lists)
  • Packing
  • Reading "Our Founding Mothers" and "Knowing God"
  • Spending time with our dear friends from out of town
I suppose sometime in the near future, I'll think of something to write and take the time to do it.

So, what's your packing situation? Packing for MD and for storage? I found a website that seems really helpful for packing tips. I'm sure I'll be referencing it off and on this summer.

I'm praying that the Lord lead's you to the right places for boxes. Happy packing!

Whoaoaoa,
Sounds like you have been very busy, and you blogged a keyboard full just listing what all you have been doing. Keep on going girl. You are doing good stuff.

The best boxes in the world that are free are from the liquor store. When I moved to Philly I had a few of the pastors help me unload the truck. They got a few laughs when they saw about 100 boxes with booze on them...
They really are great though. You just have to go to the store and ask for them or see when the best time to pick them up is. I have gone to many different stores in different areas and they have always been helpful...

or you could just have a really great party and when you are done, you will have the boxes... :)

Vicki's right. I've gone with the liquor store boxes before. They are good.. but usually on the small to med side.

Megan,
Hmm...packing situation. I have begun packing the things we don't use often. What's your status? Thanks for the link. I need all the help I can get! Thanks for praying for the boxes. I was able to get a carload of them from a nearby grocery store. I did check the liquor store, but they were all out. Now I know what days to stop in in the future.

Sandy,
There's no turning back!

Vicki,
Thanks for the tip. Like I told Megan, I checked, but they were all out. Yeah sure, your boxes were from your own stash:)

Jen,

I've only packed one box so far... Isabel's clothes for next year. That was an easy one since I didn't have anywhere to put them anyway. I guess I'm not too motivated right now... and then I'm going to be running around like crazy 3 weeks before moving. We are keeping our house... but might be renting it out, not sure yet. God only knows what tomorrow holds... and I trust that he is going to clue us in at the proper time. Trying to "Smile at the future". :-)
